Nope, although it must be the same instance.

For this one you need to start the mission at S.T.A.R. labs and go to the satellite to <spoilers removed!> after that you move to the Batcave to <???>.

Level 30 is nice because it unlocks a ton of new content, but I seriously didn't even notice as I was leveling up except for the few times I needed a power point to unlock something cool.

Going to try to get the other lvl 30 missions done next and see if I can get in the JLA. I hear you get their emblem afterwards, although I have no idea what it looks like. And I'd rather get a Batman emblem for my costume but I guess that's what Iconics are for. XD

Yeah. My league said there's about 10 dalies to do once you hit 30. Lots of stuff.

On a side note: I keep wanting to reroll. >_< Just hit 20 on my mental char but now want to do nature, as I like healing. But seems to be so many healers and not enough controllers. @_@

I'm still undecided about Ice (may switch to Fire on my next char), but other than that Super-speed+Martial Arts complemented with some Rifle bonuses are working pretty good for me now.

And don't worry about roles, just pick whatever you like playing.

(Edit > As in if there's too much inbalance between classes they'll have to either blur more the lines between them or buff whichever class is less popular to try to make more people play it)

Hopefully Guild Wars 2 will do it right and other games will follow.

              Made a new character!

              ...Ok, ok, I kinda sort of simply remade my "test" character's costume (same colors too) with a different helmet. <_<;

Still a tank, but this time fire based with Super speed and Martial arts.

Fire is fun but it depends on how things go at higher levels. Ice works by enhancing your Defense and reflecting some atacks so i've been able to tank a lot of tougher mobs, whereas Fire works by enhancing your regen HP rate (while in battle.) Also Ice based crowd contrl works by freeze-rooting enemies to the floor or even encasing them in a block of Ice for a short time, while fire doesn't trap or encase them but sends them flying away very often instead.

              So we'll see.

PS > Fortunately you can change your appearance and colors at will depending on what pieces of armor you collect, so there's always the option to completely remake your costume (which will probably be the case once I get a good idea)

I've seen some very good looking designs out there, so it's defeinitely up to one's creativity... orz And like I said before, I've yet to see two people looking the same.

I'll say this, DCUO has some very atrocious voiceovers for some of the characters (Poison Ivy, Giganta and others come to mind.)

But they got Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill and Arleen Sorkin, so the rest of the rooster is sort of supporting cast to me. Though I wish they had gotten Tim Daly to voice Superman.

And still hoping to see Terry (and being able to get a costume inspired by him) someday.

Nothing like soloing Iconics (NMs) to make things even more interesting.

Takes a while but it's waaaaaaaaay more fun than soloing NMs in XI.

Which brings me to my next observation (not a peeve) :

Most people do not know how to dodge.

One of the best things about this game is combat is in real time with no auto attack and with dodging, cover and all the good stuff that comes with it. Yet people still try to play it like other games where the tank just stays there taking damage and using the same attack over and over again.

That does not work here unless you are being heavily supported, and even then it's still a huge waste.

You need to move, you need to make openings by luring the mob into attacking you, and then evade the attack (which of course leaves him/her open for heavy damage for a few instants), and you need to use everything around you to win. That includes cars, explosive barrels, effect barrels, and even cover provided by nearby structures.

So I would be soloing this NM only to have someone (or even a group) jumping into the fight (can't be that tough, after all this guy is soloing it! \(^-^)/ ) only to get pwned shortly after because they just stand there trying to Zerg it and taking the NMs attacks full.

                        Example:

You are fighting Clayface and he readies a very powerful attack. You:

                        A) Take the full blunt of it, after all you've been focusing on Defense and have very good tanking abilities.

                        B) You run the hell away from it. It's Clayface for Gotham's sake!

I don't think I need to say more.

Finally made a villain last night, went with a Flying handblasting mental character this time.

But will remake it later today because flying is too freaking slow. >_<

Flight controls work better than I expected, but I've been spoiled by Superspeed, not to mention some of the speed skills would make it much easier to survive an move as a controller (whatever that is, I just picked it because it looked good with the character I had created, same with handblast )

The first few missions I did last night had that "Yup, I'm definitely not a good guy." feeling to them compared to the hero side, but Lex is kinda boring as a mentor, so I might pick Joker or hottie Circe (lol) for the remake.

And speaking of Mental powers I went with a Mental+Superspeed+Dual wield combo and got Circe as my mentor for my villain remake.

It worked waaaaaay better than Flight+Handblast+Mental.

Flight is the fastest form of travel once you get the supersonic thinger or whatever it is. ;p

However, I have to agree with the Lex Luthor comment... He was so boring to have as a mentor. I'm honestly quite taken with Circe.

All Lex Luthor does is brood and obsess and calculate, of course he would be a boring mentor, at least early on.

The Joker is not really a mentor, being one of his hoodlums means he might kill you just for fun - pretty much like anyone else. He will betray you, shove you into oncoming traffic or use you as canon fodder for one of his getaways.

Circe I don't know much of, but she being a Wonder Woman villain, she likely is self-absorbed, full of mystery and creates interesting challenges, which is the direct opposite of what WW is, which is vapid.
