    Re: New Zelda arrives....

I only finished the second dungeon thinger on the first one for Wii. Then I got bored and stopped playing.

Really hope this one doesn't use the same method that the other one for Wii did:
    - Enter new dungeon
    - Find new weapon/gear
    - Spam weapon/gear through the entire dungeon to clear all puzzles without need for any brain power
    - Move on to next dungeon and never use that weapon/gear again

Congratulations on only playing the first two dungeons.

There are eight more of them and as your arsenal grows, you'll be using more of it more often in different ways. You'll actually be forced to use some brain power.

Example: Once you have Bombs and Arrows, they can used to create a new paradigm - Bomb Arrows. Then there's the Dual Hookshot, all those viable situations to use the Heavy Boots in tandem with other items. Hell, the only place you really used the Heavy Boots in OOT was the Water Temple, you'll find many situations to apply them in TP.

And then there's all the puzzles that require shifting Human and Wolf form. I assure you the game makes you work much of what you get

The problem with Twilight Princess was there was too much focus on the dungeons and a few of them ran a bit too long. As a result there was very little to do in the overworld besides ride Epona. Plus what they decided to put there seemed like a tedious chore compared to the things you got to do in dungeons.

I wouldn't say TP was my favorite Zelda, but I can say you're quite wrong in your assessment. The first couple of dungeons usually have to be a bit more easy, because it seems the any time they started dungeons out at an advanced level of play, people bitch about it.

        Re: New Zelda arrives....

It came up in a recent investors meeting that Skyward Sword is now undergoing its "finishing touches," so we should start hearing about release dates for it fairly soon.

They also made mention of a new Wii Kirby game, this one more along the lines of a usual Kirby game, rather than what Epic Yarn had. And some Pokemon Wii game, which I figure will be a Colosseum game to compliment Black/White or some crap like XD was. I never much cared for the console Pokemon stuff.

Those two on top of the Pandora's Tower announcement. Some new RPG they're publishing.
