    New Zelda arrives....

    ...in early 2011!

    "Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword producer Eiji Aonuma has told ONM that he is aiming to release The Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword in the early part of 2011.


    "The basis we have now is very, very solid," Aonuma told ONM in an exclusive interview that appears in the August issue of the magazine which goes on sale today. "Early 2011 - that is what we're aiming for."

    Nintendo announced that Skyward Sword wouldn't be coming out until 2011 at E3 last month but this news hopefully means that Nintendo fans won't have to wait too long for the next adventure.

    If it does come out in early 2011, you may want to ask for money for Christmas. Along with Donkey Kong Country Returns and GoldenEye 007, of course!

      Zelda in 3D Dot Heroes or GTFO . Seriously though, is there a reason why Zelda wouldn't be on a nintendo console?

        Reason why J was specific about it being on a Nintendo console, was because Zelda did have her own game, it was on the CD-i and it SUCKED REALLY BAD.

          That game might as well be called Youtube Poop since it is repeatedly used on there. I unfortunately forgot about that because I had my memory wiped a few years back.

            Just once though it would be kinda cool to play her, either as part of her own story, a second main character, or maybe even, dare I suggest it - as player 2 in Co-Op?


            Honestly Nintendo get with the times. Online Link & Zelda adventure with Co-Op {Can I have it?}


            Also I still hate this game's art style, but I'll have to deal with that I guess.

              I dont understand all the hate on the art style.....


              Windwaker to me was too much "toon"
              Twilight Princess was good but abit to "real"

              this new one seems to be a perfect blend of two. Its like they took Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and made it 3D, and to me, that's the perfect Zelda style.

                yes for now the only way Zelda and Link can co-op in a console is in Subspace Emissary in SSBBrawl.

                Zelda really deserves her own high quality game on Nintendo console, or at least co-op with Link (co-op that isn't tacked on like Mario Galaxy 1 and 2. >.> )

                    Coming from somone that says Twilight Princess is one of Wii's best looking games, I suggest you go get your eyes checked.

                    Twilight Princess was a GAMECUBE game, this looks a lot better and this time the motion controls aren't going to be weighed down by another version. And its going to fuck with lefties, which is something I totally approve of.

                        And you're saying this because you've played it, right? Most people who came off the show floor at E3 had nothing but nice things to say about the demo.

                        I see the standard dual analog controller as what's actually holding gaming back. Sure, its comfortable, but its not nearly as diverse as what you can do with a mouse and a keyboard or motion controls. Wii Sports remains popular for a reason, you know. Its not just that it scores points with casuals - its also because it brings practical applications with movement.

                        And proof of its success lies in the competition right now. Sony and MS didn't come up with their own spin in the idea because it was a massive failure, but because it put Nintendo at a tremendous lead and widened the market beyond what MS and Sony were willing to believe it could reach out to.

                            Sorry but many people at E3 and many people here would disagree.

                            I know many people that don't like the Wii, but still admit that the Wiimote was an interesting idea.

                            Nintendo came up with a good idea
                            Sony take that same idea and improves on it
                            Microsoft tried the same idea but in a completely different way


                            Has this not been going on forever in this same manner?

                              Or maybe you just don't have it set up well. My setup is actually rather close in to the TV, but the only things I'd have trouble playing is Wii Sports for that reason.

                              I don't use Motion control for Monster Hunter Tri because it was very clearly not made for it.

                              I don't have a lot for the Wii yet, but its all working out fine so far.
