White Knight Chronicles coming to the PSP- Destructoid

This one is supposed to have a totally new storyline and it said the story for the original game closes in WKC2. I think Level 5 might have decided to make the switch to PSP after well, Layton and Dragon Quest making so much money for them on DS.

what a waste of good mews. -.-; PSP is so below PS3 in quality, screen size, online networking, community, etc. The amount of money companies make on PSP doesn't make for the lower quality psp games end up being compared to PS3 developed games. -.-;

Well at least WKC2 is coming with WKC1 (which you can access with WKC1 data.), and its being developed for PS3, not psp. and will have much better features.

Buying WKC for PSP just because it bridges the story in the games, is just a greedy tactic.
People can just see the story on youtube anyways instead of buying a psp for it. They are just shamelessly milking the franchise in a low budget way.

You do realize that this would not only widen the audience in Japan, but likely sell better than the PS3 version, right? You like Level 5 getting money, yes? You also realize Japanese companies do not revolve western lifestyles?

There are also plenty of games on PSP of good quality, especially this year. The biggest sellers in Japan in recent years have been Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Dragon Quest IX. Apparently they didn't lose much in terms of quality to make it happen and made loads of cash in exchange.

Everyone wants a piece of that action, why should Level 5 waste away on consoles when they've enjoyed a much larger success on handhelds already? WKC hasn't enjoyed the sales they've wanted it to have because it was on a console, meanwhile Professor Layton and Dragon Quest IX have been huge successes for Level 5. Layton is so huge he has a animated movie coming.

I personally think only good can come of Level 5 increasing focus on handheld development.
