    Nintendo launches DQIX US ad campaign

    Well, its not as epic as the Japanese series of DQIX commercials SE put out, but its equally funny and strange. Nintendo hired Seth Green to do the spots and left him free to do, well, what Seth Green would do if he could conceptualize and direct a commercial.

        I really like it. Seth Green is perfect for it too: Weirdo, orange hair, really short, nerdy (see Wierd Al - To White and Nerdy), oversized caffeine beverage, girls? <no thanks>, [insert infinite number stereotypes here]. :D

          Really looking forward to DQIX. I was going to stall getting it because of Persona 3 Portable but after all the raving about it from, well, everywhere lately - from importers to the E3 floor impressions - I couldn't say no when I saw the pre-order boxes at GameStop the other week.

          I even cut out my Sin and Punishment preorder to squeeze it in. I'm making myself finish the original S&P first anyway (cuz I know I won't go back to it once the second one is in my hands)

            Ya I'm trying to finish FFIX (going back and actually finishing games, screw my OCD! lol) because when DQIX hits I know I won't wait to play it. I'll try...it will sit there in its nice shiny wrapper mocking me...a day will go by...at night I'll dream of my beautiful DQIX...the next day I'll log onto the forums and hear all of you expounding its virtues...and then I will run over and rip off its shiny clothes! Now if only I could get my husband to stop streaming Netflix and my son from playing Red Dead Redemption so I could finish FFIX...I have a feeling its going to go unfinished yet again...

                I prefer to play on the PS3, old eyes and all that. But I may have to do that or pull out the PSOne with the tiny mobile screen and play.

                    They just put some Iwata Asks segments up on the Nintendo Channel, two running about 20 mins each, talking with the creator of DQ and I think some of the Level 5 team as well. Watchin' now.
