These holes at the top. They're too small to be handles; and who would need handles for a keyboard anyway? I can't fathom their intended purpose.

K, I'll get those to you. Well, I'm off to get some stuff done today. Need to sharpen my knives and I need to get some gardening supplies, lawn & leaf bags, duct tape, a shovel, etc.

And going back to topic, I'd like that Hori keyboard if it was tweaked for comfort, wireless, and not overly expensive. ^^

Dude, hell yes. Needs some tweaking but omg yes, I need a new keyboard for my PS3 badly.

Ya a friend sent me a pic from E3 of this. He took it with a really bad cell camera though so I was a little meh about it. He likes to harass me because I used to go on and on about the Logitech keyboard/controller combo that I used for FFXI. He wanted to know what I thought of this "abomination". lol I think it has possibilities. I love Hori products so that will make me watch it to see if they add to it or change it up. I could see this for use on PC too.

Oh good lord don't get me started! (See above quote!) My entire family absolutely LOOOOOOVED that keyboard/controller combo.

but I don't understand, you would still have to sit that controller down to type on it.... whats the difference in just using a controller and keyboard separate?

I've used both, keyboard and separate controller and the logitech one. I prefer the Logitech. For one thing, its more comfortable than a controller. I sit back in my desk chair (I played on PC mainly) and the device rests on my lap with my arms on my chair arms. With a controller, its smaller so you have to turn your arms inward at an odd angle which, to me, is more uncomfortable. If you have both the Logitech and a controller, you can see the difference but its hard to imagine if you don't. Also if you use a keyboard and controller, you set the keyboard on the couch/desk/knees and then you have to set the controller down and move the keyboard closer so that you can type. Its much more natural and quicker with the Logitech since its already resting on your lap you just move your hands a bit inward and type. No swapping, fumbling, etc. And before someone says it, no the Logitech is not uncomfortably huge either. If you are at a desk computer, take your keyboard (if you can) and set it on your lap and lean back. If you have a number pad on your keyboard, then its already bigger than the Logitech. Put your hands on either side of the keyboard and rest your arms on your armrests. Now slide your hands off the ends and type on the keyboard and then go back to the ends again. See? Quick and comfortable...its not quite the same since you aren't using the actual controller but it gives you an idea.
