I'm actually wondering why that wasn't just there from day one on all versions. Pain in the ass to just wait for the system to just decide what you like, and yet, its a pain-in-the-ass that the main site won't just specify what steaming-only so I don't have to waste my time looking at stuff for the DVD queue.

From reading reactions on BG, Sony was Killzone, then blah blah blah 3-D Blah blah blah move blah blah blah, Butler makes with the funny then OMGWTFBBQ for the last 30 min. While I don't own a Ps3 (I'll get one eventually), glad sony saved themselves from a MS level disaster.

Also, possible Ocarina of Time and Star fox 64 for the 3DS.

the DS game library is very diverse and there are tons of fun tittles for it,

at E3 they stated there would be a Metal gear, and even a Resident evil game for it already scheduled, so its line up for the 3DS wont be any where near "lacking"

Suprised the Zelda: OOT one wasn't listed.

Then again that kinda of confirms my fears that Wii virtual console stuff will not be happening here. I suppose that makes sense if they actually want to sell the OOT remake. Oh weill, there's still GBA and DS stuff they could VC on this.

I'd personally rather have a Majora's Mask remake, but I guess they had to give something for the OOT fanboys to spooge all over.

I wonder what SE's FF game will be.

Anyway, just meh at Sony's conference. I'm sure there was something there for some people. I wasn't interested by anything. Nintendo won E3 in my book. But either way, this is the best E3 in years, easily.

I tried watching the Nintendo 3DS reveal, but that dude wasn't speaking a language I can comprehend. The new Zelda looks pretty lame, which is a shame, because it could be pretty cool if somebody serious got a hold of the rights. Dead Space 2 looks awesome, and so does Portal 2 ON THE PLAYSTATION 3. WHAT. WHAT. ABOUT DAMN TIME, GABE NEWELL.

Now where's my Demon's Souls 2???

That "dude" is Shigeru Miyamoto - the creator of Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, Donkey Kong and many other games. He had a translator. Did you have a hard time with his translator?

Only company that's held the rights to do a Zelda game outside of Nintendo has been Capcom. Minsh Cap would destroy you. That said, I'll trust Miyamoto's instincts over yours.

The game's been in development for five years. I think people are really jumping to conclusions on Zelda.

I'm looking at Nintendo's 3DS site, so probably olde, but yes it is Snake Eater. So happy, although I'm wondering if there's any reason for that beyond "lolz it's MGS3 so now it's MGS3D!". Then again, it's Kojima, so who has ever known what that dude is thinking. Speaking of which, I lol'd at the press conference video where Kojima was like "Nintendo sat me down, and they gave me this thing, and I was like 'Holy shit! MINDFUCKS ARE MY JOB. HEY, CAN I USE THIS?'".


The KH images are delightfully uninformative. a Nobody in Twilight town, scene on destiny islands, and playable riku. Kthx! KH1 models though, wonder if it might be a KH1 remake with a "Riku's Story" mode.

Excited for Samurai Warriors. Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games are repetitive as hell, but there's something oddly entrancing about them.

I'm hoping what was shown is a highly unpolished version, because I could see that being released as a finished product, and becoming the most loathed game in the series since Zelda 2. The "Adult link graphics meets Kid link style" angle was interesting, and the opening cinematic's link looked GREAT, but the actual game's graphics looked early gamecube, and that's not a stylistic problem. The controls seemed really wonky (especially the bow, which appeared to me to be glitched to set the 0,0 neutral aiming position based on when you have the Wiimote when you first select the item, which is a huge mistake if true), and generally it didn't look very creative. If what they showed is the most up to date version of the game, and they release it by holiday season, it's going to have to work VERY hard to become even a decent game.

I'd actually also laugh my ass off if Kingdom Hearts 3DS is KH3.

Really curious to see what gets added to MGS3DS. I'd kinda like a mode where you play through The Boss, Ocelot or Eva's side of the story.

My understanding of the bow in this version of Zelda is that the bow is set up like Archery in Wii Sports Resort.

At any rate, I'd wait for impressions from the floor more than I would a stage demo of anything.during a press conference.

J9 is once again off her rocker.

Nintendo's set was pretty good, but defniitely not surprising. Kid Icarus was due for a remake/sequel, so I'm not overly shocked. I'm not a huge handheld gamer and I definitely don't want 3d on a handheld, but I can respect what N is trying to do. I'd be more excited if they released dope 3d tech at CES over anything announced at e3.

Eva's could be moderately interesting; it wouldn't make any sense for The Boss to have a story. Maybe Ocelot could have a game, but I really don't think MGS3 would work well. What would it be; he gets in to a few almost boss fights with Snake and loses every goddamn time? Eva could work because she actually does some sneaking around, although that's more "I'm in disguise, tehehe" than "I am an elite agent who is going to get into the heart of this facility and back out again without a soul discovering my existence." tactical espionage action. But really, I think trying to milk another storyline out of the events in Russia would be undermining MGS3 to the extent that the futurama movie undermined Fry's dog. It would have to be handled so distantly and delicately in order to preserve that genius.

Personally, I would be MORE than satisfied if they just kept in some of the Subsistence bonus features. The MSX games would make a great addition, as many people can't play them, and the Essential Collection didn't include Disk 2 of subsistence. Linking MGS3D into MGO would be great; especially if it can be made to work with all of the Portable Ops already out there. For that matter, it wouldn't be too hard to add a Portable Ops mode similar to PO+. Most of all, I'm expecting jokes about the codes the guards carry for the PSP games. "Sorry Snake, but your secret character is on another handheld!"
