A recent poll in Japan asked 3,000 people tp name their favorite Square Enix series.

9. Front Mission series 2.8 percent
8. Kingdom Hearts series 2.9 percent

6. Chikyuu no Arukikata series 3.9 percent

Final Fantasy VII would be at the top. Then Kingdom Hearts. Then Final Fantasy.

I have loved Seiken Densetsu from day one and am still deeply offended by SE at the sheer crap that has come out of the "World of Mana" project. Please give us something good... at least they're considering adding a localized (finally!) SD3 port on the virtual console.

I would expect FF to be top, followed by 'SE makes more then just Final Fantasy?'

For me it's Chrono, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and Mana games. There are many other Square games I love though (Vagrant Story comes to mind).

Whenever I hear about Vagrant Story, a conversation I had with my sister while playing the game comes to mind...

Valkyrie Profile went downhill after the first one. I didn't like the twist concept they did with the 2nd game, it should have been a better story about Silmeria, NOT mostly Alicia and some of Silmeria. The climax made up for it, but the franchise took another dive going to PSP and the mess they've done with it,

with each sequel they make it less about playing the role about a Valkyrie and more about
another generic mortal tale that makes Suikoden 4 look like a masterpiece. -_-;

where is Valkyrie Profile Hrist???? And Silmeria deserves her own game for real, with no one else hogging the spotlight.
They could make it take place long before Ragnarok when Odin was in a good mood and not thinking about the dragon orb.

oh well, Tri-Ace is mostly made up of idiots who got lucky making at least the first VP somewhat decent, I wouldn't expect them to make anything better.

I don't think any one franchise has done it for me, but I think for favorite games it'd be a toss up between Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana. I'd also give a nod to Secret of Evermore, but no one other than my sister and I seem to know about that game.
