You seem to lack a fundamental understanding of everything.

There is nothing innocent about your damn mews. You're trying to convince yourself that a MMO can be built on the kinds of shiny knick knacks a magpie would collect. It doesn't work like that. Christ your stupidity infuriates me.

m-m-MEANY!!!!! =><= It was just an idea. Of course it takes more than graphics to convince consumers.

But ya, what if players could experience Pokemon like the pokemon anime? a fully realized 3-D world on console with thousands of players? the presentation alone would make jaws drop I think.

Idk, but a pokemon MMO probably would have a monster following. I always imagined thats where the franchise would eventually go.
Burning questions are burning: Is jenova_9 really a girl and is she cute? Does she talk like that in real life?

it would gone in that direction if Nintendo wasn't so old fashioned and too stubborn to take online gaming seriously. Plus Nintendo has the most loyal fanatical fanbase on their side. Anything Nintendo makes, the fanbase praises as the best thing ever.

It infuriated me from ever since WotG release. Not any more.

Thank you for the reminder YM.

Please use the Ignore Feature instead of letting people continually irritate you. It's there for a reason.

Re: Would you pay Nintendo for its online content?

A Pokemon MMO would suck completely because it would be even more grind-centric than the games, and the games already take unhealthy amounts of time commitment to be competitive.

And Pokemon fans don't care about bells and whistles, they want solid and balanced gameplay first and foremost.

Re: Would you pay Nintendo for its online content?

I'll throw in my 3.5 cents and say a Pokemon MMO is the natural progression of the series. Sure, they don't HAVE to do one, but if they do, it'll feel natural. In the current games you're constantly battling other trainers. The difference with the MMO is that instead of these trainers being fake, they'll be real.

And is it just me or would the act of walking around in a 3D environment (most likely cell-shaded knowing Nintendo) seeing other trainers battling/trying to catch pokemon in real time be just about the most orgasmic thing I can possibly imagine? Think of it as Pokemon Snap off-rails.
