Its not like Bungie suddenly becomes a bad company for Activision PUBLISHING their games. They're not owned and operated by Activision now, that was Infinity Ward set themselves up for. Its what Bungie set themselves up for when they inked a deal with Microsoft.

They're not putting themselves in that position again. Same thing with Respawn, really. EA publishes for them, but Respawn is its own entity and its IPs are its own.

Yes, it does because it means if I want to keep supporting Bungie, I have to feed the beast too (Kotick) something I'm not comfortable with in the least.


The timing of this is horrendously dubious too. So this deal has been in the works for 9 months, but we're just hearing about it? Yeah this clearly has nothing to do with that whole Infinity Ward mess.

And of course M$ is at the heart of all this crap because Bungie wants to go multi-platform with their new universe and well, Microsoft being in direct competition with Sony, ain't gonna let that fly.
