    Holy crap, every sentence in this post is misinformation.

    1) According to Seth, it's 4 attack buttons and 2 assist buttons.

    2) Marvel was fun with only... 10 playable characters out of a roster of 56 (at the competitive level, anyways). The perms and combs with only 30 characters is still quite good, and I believe there will be more than 30 characters anyways.

    3) TvC is fast and it uses 3d modelling. MvC3 will be a variation of the TvC engine.

        As much as I honestly hated the character, it might be kinda cool to see X, Zero and Axl in the same title.

        But again I loath Axl... as long as Dante is included, all will be good (and maybe Wesker :3)

          Roll should return. She wasn't playable in MM9 or 10, which is an outrage.

          Sonya in Shockman has done what MM creator should of done for Roll years ago.

          Strider should return too, without the gimped health/defense.

          I wonder if Cyclops, Jill and Silver Samurai will return?

          It's nice to see Morrigan and Felicia are confirmed.

                Just picked up TvC a few hours ago, its every bit as fun as the MvC game and SF Vs. X-Men games were.

                There are three fight buttons, but the partner button may as well be the fourth one since its much more of an involved element in the game than the tag-ins and cross-overs of previous games. Its certainly not slow.

                Beats the hell out of Capcom vs. SNK 2. These cross-over games are a lot more fun when they're not mired in the technical differences between two brands.

                    No. Just no. I guess to the casual eye, TvC is a better and more fun game. But I'm going to have a highly highly highly disagree that it is better than CvS2.

                      The key word here is "more fun." I didn't particularly like both brands being gimped to find a happy medium between the two and the de-emphasis of over-the-top arcade play in exchange for a highly technical, round-based fighter.

                      EO mode was not an acceptable solution. The solution to "too technical" is not dumbing it down to kiddie play levels.

                        To each their own, for sure. The key word in my response was "casual".

                        Though to be fair, Capcom side in CvS2 was not gimped, but the SNK side was neutered beyond belief. There's a reason why all the top characters are Capcom characters rofl. CvS series was also never meant to be over the top like the other VS games.

                        EO mode is junk, it's not worthy of more than this sentence proclaiming how bad it is.

                            It is seriously about time they put Dante in a fighter. Hope he's at least viable competitvely.

                            Also, I've heard that J9 was actually somewhat right when it comes to button scheme. I believe the system will now be weak, strong, fierce, launcher (?), assist 1, assist 2. I think the launcher button will be context sensitive. Sounds bad, but I'll have to see how it plays out.

                                Cool! Also while he hasn't been shown in-game yet, Viewtiful Joe's figure is clearly identifiable in one of the silhouettes.

                                New trailer up on GT confirming Doctor Doom, Chun-Li, Super Skrull and Trish (I'd have rather they used Virgil to give Dante an opposite but oh well. Or shit how about Sparda?)
