Lost Planet 2 MP Demo

I have no idea what the hell is going on in this game.Occasionally, I'll explode and I don't know why. I found a cool grenade that inflates a dummy doll, dubbed the dummy grenade, but I let my guard down thinking it was only a distraction. It does explode.

At one point I found a player that didn't seem to be active, so I tried elbowing him to death but it had no effect. I threw a few grenades, and still nothing. His name was red, like the other enemies I had seen, so I'm sure he wasn't a teammate. The default rifle seems super weak, but that may just be a lack of accuracy. I know there's something out there that can kill in one hit, because I'm often hit by it without ever seeing an enemy.

The demo doesn't really make me want to purchase the full game.

Is there a new MP demo out? Or is this the one that came out last year?

Yep, two different game modes on one map.They both boil down to deathmatch.

Nothing really makes any sense. Some guy managed to destroy the turret I was in by Demon's Souls rolling past it, which I haven't figured out how to do yet, and throwing grenades at me from a blind spot. At the last minute it gave me an option to eject. The ejection wasn't nearly as exciting as I thought it would be and I was still well within the blast radius of the turret's final explosion. I don't understand why that was included. There's a light armor you can equip which looks like it might have some kind of function, but all it seems to do is make you invulnerable - until it takes enough damage. It would seem, after being shot enough, that it actually explodes while still attached to you which causes massive damage and throws you to the ground. I don't understand how anybody, let alone an entire development team, could think that's a good idea.

Meh, plenty of good games for Death Match (MAG & BF:BC2)

I'm playing LP2 for the campaign/co-op.

Honestly, Akrid Hunter mode is by far the most fun in LP. The deathmatch games are so damn unintuitive and clunky.

The demo I played last year rocked.. I had no problem with anything. The default rifle was also very good. I will probably be purchasing this game mostly for its co-op.
