        Another "Greatest Game Ever" Jen, really? How many are you up to now? I can think of at least five other games off the top of my head that you've heralded as the greatest game ever. Stop with the hyperbole and just call it the "Latest game I'm really excited about".

                KoF are never the best games ever.

                Pics look great, but game mechanics are usually goofy as shit, and SNK doesn't know how to balance. At all.

                Best KoF is 2K2.

                  I like King of Fighters, but 12 was a disaster. After that mistake I wont even think about touching another KoF game for a long time.

                    KoF12 was just a beta for KoF13, imo. New engine and everything.

                    I can't believe I paid 60 dollars for KoF12. =(.

                              Not giving KOFXIII a chance is a mistake in itself.

                              Everyone forgave Capcom after the faliure that is known as Street Fighter III A New Generation. If they didn't, they would of missed out on Third Strike.

                              but SNKP makes one mistake and you choose to miss out on possibly the greatest new KOF to date and likely the best new favorite for fans worldwide????
                              That's like someone playing Street Fighter 1 for the first time, and never giving Street Fighter 2 a chance.
                              Or hating on Alpha 1, and never playing Alpha 2 or 3 because of that.

                              Ya KOFXII wasn't what it should have been, but there's no reason to hold onto resentment. It was a necessary stepping stone
                              for a new generation of quality sprites and presentation. In this age of information, people can know everything about a game before buying it. So if they feel they got robbed, then that's their own fault not doing their homework.
                              I knew what I was buying, and KOFXII did have enough characters and good gameplay to be a decent dreammatch.

                              Remember when SFIII attempted to introduce new sprites/art and a greater level of animation, it only had 10 characters to start with. Yes it had a boss and a 'story', but SFIII didn't nearly have as much work done on its sprites compared to KOFXII's sprites, which take more time and detail to complete.

                              And SNKP should be respected because at least they didn't give up on 2-D like Capcom did for its most popular fighting series.
                              They chose the harder path, and now they are making up for what was missing in XII.

                              KOF fans and fighting fans shouldn't miss out on KOFXIII. It's really going to be the greatest fighting game ever!
