Re: Oregon Trail vs. Mortal Kombat.

I loved Oregon trail. It is basically a linear RPG on Rails with a few mini games.

If I remember correctly, you start as a few families trying to travel from the east coast to the west coast during the gold rush era. Along the way people would get sick/contract a desease, starve, or die. The goal was to make it to the west coast with as many people as possible.

I have yet to make it to the west coast. The time I thought I was going to make it, I was attacked by Indians just before I got to California and the last 3 members died.

It has always been a guily pleasure of mine to shoot down buffalo in OT. There's something oddly satisfying about taking down the slow-ass beasts of burdon.

      Vote: Oregon Trail

            MGS3, duh.

Nothing says manly like a sadomasochist big bad, turning your previous protagonist into the boy toy of said big bad, having your main character wet himself, having a major theme of the game be the main character's mommy issues, having your main character's rivalry have clear homoerotic overtones, and having an ending which is well known for making grown men cry.

MGS3. Manliest game of all time, bitches.
