Looks very nice! I'll be getting an iPhone some time soon so this will be the first thing I load on to it.

Just finished watching the trailer, and I have an unfounded proclaimation to make.

This will get better reviews than FFXIII.

Put it on DS or PSP and maybe I'll care. I have no use for iPhone and iPad for gaming til they sprout D-Pads and buttons.

Based on some articles over the past couple of weeks Apple has filed a patent for just such controls. Now whether or not we'll see this device and when is anyone's guess.

I would love to see Chaos Rings on a device other than iPhone, but I wonder how scaling of the price would go. Most new DS games are 35$+, most iPhone games have not gone above the 20$ mark. I don't know about PSP, but I can imagine they are not less expensive than DS.

Same here. I just need a phone to call people and thats it. I find no use for the Iphones, and all these fancy phones. Or make a PC version and I'll be happy with that.

Nintendo puts out a lot of $2 apps of DS, but Sony's smallest apps in the "Minis" category range $2.99 to $9.99 and. Nintendo's most expensive has been $10 (1000 points) and the highest on PSN for PSP's UMD games is $39.99 in digital form.

Sony doesn't want to alienate retailers, but they also blame developers and not themselves for the high prices of games on PSN. Akysys Games did recently release Blazeblue:Calamity Trigger Portable for $24.99 vs. its $29.99 in retail.

But that was clearly made within the developer's desires, not something Sony suggested them to do.

                  Re: Chaos Rings

I had forgotten about PSN and DS's online shop. So yeah, I could see it being offered on all three at a reasonable price point. Now the question is how much effort they are willing to put in to port the game to the other two systems.

Well the game has been a HUGE hit so they are adapting it to the iPad. (YAY!)

I doubt it will go beyond phones or the iPad though.
