Re: Can Bobby Kotick possible be any dumber/more of an ass**** ?!
Yeah the game has a couple of pretty bad plotholes, but the story was still good and the experience was truly novel. Honestly, if the script had been just a bit better and perhaps some scenes been able to play out in more ways for more endings, it would have been perfect. It is by far one of the most unique and compelling experiences I've ever had with a game though, said plot holes not withstanding. (btw spoiler tags >_> I've seen all 7 endings already but dude!)
Speaking of Blake it would have been cool to have had more choices or at least a bigger impact on the story based on your interactions with him as either Norman or Ethan.
And @Dak: Nothing wrong with traditional FPS death match. I mean what did you expect? Honestly, my biggest issue with MW2 (other than the need for a ridiculously fast internet connection and the kill cam) is the kill streaks. The streaks take an otherwise solid shooter and warp it into a 1-sided slaughter for anyone who's even remotely good at camping.
Shit I've seen a video on Youtube where a dude gets a Nuke within 1:30 from the start of the match.
The game has several good concepts but needs to re-balance several weapons. A 5.56 should kill just as fast as a 7.62, that's just BS. And the Barret.50 should be a OSK without stopping power. I would think that a gun designed to take out light vehicles firing 14x12's would be an instant god-damned kill. Same goes for the Desert Eagle - 50 caliber rounds inflict horrific injuries. But w/e
At least in Bad Company 2 you can destroy just about any piece of cover which is just awesome. Though people really do take entirely too much to kill. Shit I had 1 game in the demo where the dude ran up the stairs and I fired a 40mm right next to him, he couldn't have been more than a few inches from the impact and somehow he lived and then shot me in the head while I was reloading. Yeah, okay, bullshit.
