    Mistwalker announces "The Last Story" for Wii

    Destructoid - That Nintendo/Mistwalker Wii RPG: The Last Story



    Obviously a play on "Final Fantasy." Well, Sakaguchi did create it, so I'll let him get away with that.

    Sakaguchi confirmed it for 2010 in Japan, no word on US release yet.

    Also, if the teaser site is any indication, Uematsu appears to be on-board as well.

    I wasn't exactly short on reasons to get a Wii, but here's another.

        I like the name and the synonymous meaning with Final Fantasy. Should be one to look forward too!

            so basically to the producer, "if all else fails, make a logo like Final Fantasy to sell an rpg."
            I wonder if the person in the logo is the main character?

                  I am looking forward to it. Lost Odyssey was an AWESOME game and if they keep that type of quality going then I'm excited for the prospect.

                    The font's even the same, the underline is super FF.... wow.

                    Also, wtf is feeling her up? Or is that her own zombie-looking hand?

                        That's a different font actually. The FF font is Runic MT Condensed, the Last Story font I have no idea.

                            I'm not a fontologist. It looks the same, it smells the same. It's close e-damn-nough.

                            TGM, that's what I'm thinking, but it looks all sorts of weird to me. But then, her other hand isn't much better. I'm not a picturologist either - and I'm not good with anatomy - but if that's her right hand, I'm pretty sure it has 2 palms, affixed end-on-end.

                            Oh well. I'll play it.

                              Anyway, will be interesting. I really want more RPG's on the Wii, as that is all I have until I can afford another console.
