      Now that I know you get C4 for doing it, Me lol. My main class is usually engineer or specialist, but since they took specialist out and gave engineer a SMG, I'm making it up as I go along. At first I was doing it to get points on Assault since we were on defense. But then too I guess you can ask the same question to the Medic I just saw with a shotgun >_>

        There's a lot of debate on the BFBC2 forums about whether or not snipers contribute to a game based around capturing objectives. I have, personally, ensured that M-COMM stations are either safe or destroyed without being anywhere near them. I do more in a game than anybody on the so called front lines, and I walk away with dozens of medals for assists, kills, head-shots, and offensive or defensive actions. They just don't understand how completely wrong they are.

            Conquest always felt like a game of tag and run. It was something that I always thought would play better if it worked more like Rush. In BF2142, on Gibraltar, somebody would always rush to the back of the map and attempt to capture one that was unguarded. If they did, it became extremely difficult to hold the ones that should have came before it, much less recapture the one initially lost.

                    AND IT COMES OUT TOMORROW!!!

                    Even if the FFXI news did move me to reactive/start anew, it probably wouldn't be anytime soon due to this game. Once I'm done, there will probably be more news of FFXIV to take my mind off of FFXI.

                      Yeah it does. Think I might give MW2 another playthrough online before tomorrow then I'm retiring it lol.

                        So, first impressions are in and they're bad. I thought Hardcore mode would be the solution I was looking for to the killcam, but it brings with it a host of other problems. M-COMM stations' timers are now super short, which makes them difficult to defend. Plus, buildings seem to take more damage and fall more easily, which destroys the M-COMM station. There's also no ability to spot, which makes sniping that much more easier and makes seeing snipers near impossible. It does remove the killcam...

                        The campaign is complete ass. The first mission was a wtf sandwich with wtf on the side.

                        I don't want to give anything away, but it's not really that important anyways


                        Normal multiplayer is fine. It's more difficult to spot enemies, which is annoying when you can clearly see them, and the new maps aren't all that well designed. In one, the attacking team has immediate access to a Blackhawk whose guns can knock walls out. So you're contending with something that's already difficult enough to hit with the slow moving tracer dart AND the UAV. The UAV isn't that powerful anymore because it can't spot as well either, which is odd considering that's what they're used for.

                          Another hour til I get home, I can't wait to start unlocking stuff. 300k XP to unlock the NS2000 I noticed there is a sniper upgrade that will auto-spot things that are in your sight if I read it correctly.

                            The game is pretty lame. I guess I'll play some more Modern Warfare: Bad Company 2 later.

                              I really want to like the game, but IMO I think that BC1 was still a better game. Majority of the Conquest levels are abnormally huge....HUUUUUUUUUGE!!! One of the levels I found nobody for like a good 7 mins .

                              Started playing Rush mode because I figured I'd get more points playing rush than in conquest. Nobody should be able to say that there are no places to snipe from, on the level with the lighthouse I didn't go to check it out, but a short while later there were like 4 snipers in the damn tower, WHAT THE HELL! I was trying to snipe them from where I was but I was too low to the ground and my bullet dropoff was being punished lol.

                              The first unlock for each class should've came free, not that I had a problem with unlocking the motion sensor or the med kit >_>.

                              I did get a couple of satisfying kills though, I somehow got a double headshot as recon on two engineers trying to fix a tank. Also got a kill on a sniper that was hiding behind one of our bases. The bastard shot me in the back, and when I turned around and saw him, I ran for a wall that was in front of me. Of course the idiot shot the wall and I returned a headshot fire at him while he was reloading.

                              They should've left the ammo kits as they were, I don't like having to chase down a Assault guy to get his ammo.

                              I saw that level with the blackhawk you were talking about Dak, and I agree it is terrible. Even moreso if there is a pilot that knows how to fly it, and by fly I mean FLY not just moving it around as the gunners shoot lol.

                                It wouldn't be that bad if the gunners couldn't knock out walls and every single person's choice of vehicle upgrade didn't apply to the vehicle.
