    The Persona 4 Team's new game - Karasu

    It appears to be some kind of high school RPG with a card theme of some kind. Its not SMT or Persona related, but its should prove to be interesting if it ever gets out in the west. More "like" when and not "if" considering Atlus brings almost everything the do over here.

    In case anyone wants to watch some videos, some are under the 4th card on the bottom left of the front page. There is only one available right now and it really doesn't show that much but there are spots for more later. There are also short individual character videos up on the 5th card but only 2 right now. And the last card on the front page also leads to a trailer.

      Yeah, I should have said something to that effect. I can't read Japanese for the life of me, so I just poked around. the cards til something with video came up.

      Its got a strong team behind it, so its on my watch list at the very least.

      I actually can't blame them for doing a new project, though, they said Persona 4 almost had the staff at each other's throats over event planning in that game. They had a full year of calender events to plan, a weather system and they had to decided who would be where on what day and under what conditions and keep it in accordance with the Social Link and part-time job elements of the game.

      So, yeah, I can understand why there's no Persona 5 yet. Karasu is probably going to play a bit more fast and loose with high school life.

            I honestly can't think of that many RPGs outside of Persona that take place in a high school. There really aren't enough RPGs that take place in modern settings, though.

            I'm a bit more tired of the teenaged hero in the fantasy setting.

                That's what Fallout and and main series Shin Megami Tensei games are for. The world ends, so no pressure about saving it. You just help shape wihat happens with what's left
