Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 scans! multiplatform!
I did. Only about 4 of those minutes were actual gameplay. The rest was QTE and cutscenes.
you are not counting the menu exploring, and the fact the story mode is about 15 hours.
And that doesn't count the hundreds of hours people will play versus mode online!
There is lots of gameplay. And the QTE and cutscenes are a good thing in story mode because it's telling a story, and the QTEs makes the combat look better while being more interactive than a cutscene.
And nothing tells a story event better than cutscene does. I mean really, there is no need to bicker since there is plenty of gameplay there and the battles cannot be won by just watching.
Re: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 scans! multiplatform!
The problem with these fighting games is the story is probably more important for most fans than the gameplay, so indeed, at least half the time is spent watching cutscenes both between fights AND while fighting (because of how cinematic a lot of moves are.)
Which probably wouldn't bother any fan of the anime who just wanted to see their favorite character so well drawn in 3d (the art direction in this game is undeniably good even for a non-fan like me) and control them for a while between cutscenes, but it would definitely aggraviate anyone who wanted to actually play a fighting game.
So, pick your poison, fighting game with little cinematic content or cinematic game with little fighting content.

oh mew, this game has so much great action and gameplay and online play and everything! You are missing out on the best gaming!
Explain to me how I'm missing out on the "best" gaming by missing this. It's certainly not the storyline that's going to be holding it up and the gameplay, while flashy, doesn't look like the pinnacle of the fighting genre.
