    Dragon Quest goes Planet Hollywood in Japan?

    Destructoid - Square Enix opens Dragon Quest IX theme bar



    SE has actually opened a DQ-themed bar and restaurant in Japan. I would say that was insane, but since America has some pretty crazy themed restaurants of its own, I'll keep my mouth shut on the matter.

    I mean, we have Medieval Times, Planet Hollywood and such, so yeah...

    They better have slimes made from jello, because if I ever go to Japan I will totally go there if they do.

      are you slamming medieval times. you did not just slam medieval times.

      Anyway, DQ seems like an odd choice. You'd think they'd go back to making Potions or something.

        They had Potions ready for FFXIII's release.

        I wasn't slamming Medieval Times, just citing that it was a theme restaurant. Some people would go "oh, those crazy Japanese" when seeing news like that, but I think every corner of the industrialized world has a little of that craziness when it comes to restaurants.

          Great pictures at the link. They even did some of the food like in game mobs/items. I would ABSOLUTELY go there.
