I don't see what's wrong with people wanting an FFVII remake. If it bothers you that much then you should just drop the subject and move on; people are free to speculate whatever they wish and if you get so angry about it then it is your own problem.

I personally wouldn't rule it out, but you never know with Nomura and Square - they like to mindfuck their fans.

If they're going even dare to do an FFVII remake or another sequel, they need to resolve some of these little issues they've created. Genesis especially. And they also need to keep Rachel Leigh Cook the fuck away from Tifa.
But really, enough with FFVII already.
Remake FFVIII! That's what we really want.

God damn, please don't be an FF7 remake. Pretty graphics aren't going to make the game any better and I'd rather not see the most rabid fan base ever spawned given more reason to spout off about how FF7 is the greatest game that will ever exist in the history of everything.

My money is on Kingdom Hearts 3. It's widely requested, and isn't over-saturated like Final Fantasy is at the moment.
Side bet: Will be PS3 or multiplatform including PS3. Tetsuya Nomura is a Sony fanboy.

I don't think it will be KH3. This is supposed to be HUGE and not huge. KH3 is still rather fresh so a sequel would be huge. FFVII fans have been clamoring a lot longer than KH fans so it would be HUGE.
Timeframe wise KH3 makes more sense but I think they'll get more hoopla over a FFVII remake....and it seems hoopla is what they are looking for.
