    It worked ok in Uncharted 2's survival mode, mainly because it usually took a lot more to take someone down, stealth was a more important factor, the maps were smaller and the teams only had 5 people. But for a massive action game, to be taken out of the battle early on gives it very little fun factor.

    There are vehicles in MAG, though the guns are still the same from the open Beta. There's definitely going to be a DLC soon for this game, since it's actually *missing* some headgear and such from the open beta. Hopefully more guns and abilities will also be added to the game.

      It cracks me up, my son bought the game after I played the beta. And he's loving it! lol

        So I was reading around the official MAG forums and stumbled upon one of the easiest and most brilliant ideas to greatly enhance this game.

        Allow PMCs who've achieved victories in enemy maps to take over and defend said map from other PMCs. As of now, a player can only really experience 3 defense missions and 6 attack missions, as Suppression and Training are modes simply for newbs. But if PMCs could take over and defend enemy maps, it would remove the imbalance of one side's maps being better defensible then others, add a new level of real time immersive gameplay, and give each player a far more varied experience by seeing things from "the other side" of any given map. Just the though of a match where Raven's troops are attacking Valor on SVER's Domination map seems like it would be really fun. And it would be nothing more then a coding issue as it wouldn't really need any actual content additions, so it would make for some real nice free DLC, to completely enhance the game overall.

          They use a system that wouldn't have room for that. Whoever has the most contracts defends, that's it. If you don't have any you'll be on the offense until you start winning a few battles and earn a contract or two. I don't know how you would earn certain contracts, or if you need two to defend or only one, but that's the gist of how it's done.

          That idea would be better. They also need to revise the skill tree. If they did that, and managed to produce something thoughtful, I'd be all over it.

            Contracts have nothing to do with attacking/defending, it's all about winning/losing. Even with no contracts, the majority of the Sabotage games I played last night were defending, very rarely did I actually play any offensive Sabo matches. With this idea, it'll be more like how you claim Contracts are. If you keep winning you'll gain more maps but the other teams will start attacking more, making it harder to hold everything.

            Though I'm not too sure what's wrong with the skill tree. At most I would just add to it, which I'm sure will be done eventually. What exactly is wrong with it that you would change?

              You're either forced to put points into things you don't want/need or things that will eventually become obsolete. The descriptions aren't very clear either. As Raven, one of the first things you may want to invest in is a grip for your assault rifle, but what they don't tell you is that the first assault rifle you can unlock already has a grip built in. So, maybe knowing that you'll go for a scope. Well, a few tiers down you're forced to unlock another scope. There are two skills in that tier, a scope and a skill that enhances your performance with only that scope, so you really don't have a choice of what to put the points into. It's really messy. Plus, I find it ugly.

                It must have either been a Raven specific thing or a Beta specific thing. With Valor the AR foregrip can work with all AR guns, there's only two different AR sight upgrades, and they work with all AR guns. It's most likely something changed since the Beta though since I did notice some skills were moved around some.

                  Almost everything in the Raven skill tree was exactly like this.

                    If that's true then it's no wonder nobody plays them now. But again, I have noticed the skill tress have changed on Valor's side from the Open beta to the full release so it's possible Raven's tree got changed as well.
