Well, everybody is supposed to have very similar weapons, so yours is probably as good as Raven's.

I'm afraid not, at least not for the Beta's selection. I don't think we get even a single "large" sniper rifle. The .50 on the other hand, is a fucking anti-material rifle which means you can pick people out of lightly armored vehicles.

I'm really hoping there's more guns when the game is released. Right now, the selection is pitiful. I mean, Battlefield 2142 had only three guns in every category, but they were all worth their salt in one situation or another. Here, each one on the line is an upgrade to the one before it, with a few exceptions. Seeing as how I can only equip one, I don't want to have to unlock more than one in each category.

My friend and I are still deciding whether or not we're going to get the game. We do have fun, but it's still frustrating.

There's supposed to be 5 more guns I believe for all sides. I dunno. I haven't been to the beta forums to find out.

I'll probably grab it, it will be the second FPS I have on my PS3 and probably the only one I'll actually play a lot online.

My final decision: not buying the game.

It's a game built around the Battlefield model that doesn't do it any justice. What's the point of 256 players in a single battle when the rest of the game suffers for it? Sixty-four is just fine. You have ten voices to choose from, and ten skin tones, when there's three different factions in the game who should speak three different languages. Each faction's guns and equipment all look exactly the same. Why is every S.V.E.R. gun a modified AK47? The skill tree is pitiful and makes me want to cut myself. Game-play is worse. I don't even want to continue writing this. The point is Battlefield did it already and they did it better.
