    what is the worst videogame music ever?

    Ah yes...I remembered this soon as I left... Music from Reshelled (TMNT4 Remake) was the reason I did not buy it. If it had been the same as TMNT4 I would've bought it definently.

        YouTube - Retro Rip-offs: Dash Galaxy (NES)

        The sad thing is that I still have this game along with the rest of my NES games. Music was incredibly horrible... and repetitive and boring... From 3:11 forward for a bit, they talk abou tthe music lol.

              They said worst music, Callisto, not awesome music. Just its being in MVC2 makes it awesome by default.

                  lol ya I have to agree Chrono Cross's battle music could have been better. The rest of the soundtrack makes up for it.
                  But you know I think there was a battle track that was kewl. Maybe it was for certain boss fight.

                  Oh yes I always turn off the music for MVC2. ugh. I rather play some awesome music like the soundtrack from
                  Megaman X4. Zero's Sky Lagoon = win.

                      I love MvC2, that doesn't make the player selection music any less horrible, lol.

                      I guess this should stick to original music composed for games or else I'd add the Nickelback song in NHL10...

                              Worst music in a video game... GTA3 and GTA4 are definitely up there. I don't think I've ever found a radio station on those games that I have actualy liked except maybe the Classical and Jazz stations. I did like Vice City's and San Andreas' soundtrack and the Saints Row 2 soundtrack though because I am a massive fan of Rock and Metal music.

                              Warhammer Online has quite annoying music due to how limited it is and how LOUD it is when it kicks in dramatically at very undramatic moments. FFXI and Aion have it right with music for MMOs. If you're going to be forced to listen to one track endlessly while in a zone you may as well make it enjoyable. By far my favourite town music in an MMO is easily Selbina's though South San 'dOria [s]'s theme is very close as well as just about any of the music you will hear in Nyzul Isle.

                              On the subject of FFXI I did find San 'dOria's town music quite annoying after a while. Repeated fanfare when listening on headphones = NOT fun or nice on the ears.

                              Dynasty Warriors 4 and 5. I found thier soundtracks quite dissapointing especially when you compare them to the soundtracks from DW3 and the Samurai Warriors games. With 4 and 5 it just sounded like they added heavy guitars for the sake of adding them without really bothering to check to see if it sounds painful alongside pan flutes and the like.

                              There's also Smackdown vs Raw 2009's CAW songs. 2008's were worse but you could use customised soundtracks so you could have any theme you wanted (I once had one CAW use the 8-Bit Mario theme tune just to make my roommate laugh).

                              Oh and Band Hero. I'm not one of those stuck up "ZOMG CLASSIC ROCK ONLYZS IN GETUR GAMEZ!!11" people but really, it sounds like Simon Cowell made the song list for that game.

                              Then there's just about any EA sports game. It got to the point where the FIFA games were banned in my dorm because nobody wanted to listen to that bloody soilder boy song
