    PSP Comics launch today/FFVIII Coming soon to PSN

    Destructoid - PSA: Comic service for PSP launches today

    Marvel, IDW and a few others are on-board, sadly no DC comics so Sony fails again. Needs moar Batman, you like Batman don't you Sony? Get on it!

    Alister Arcane will be a worthy read, though.

    Destructoid - Final Fantasy VIII coming to US PSN

    No exact date, but coming soon. Guess its time to get that bigger pro duo I was planning on. I could just hook up and PSOne and play it but I'd rather not.

        FFVIII went up tonight, along with the english version of the MGS Peacewalker Demo.

        Also, MGS Portable Ops and Portable Ops Plus were added.

        I'm saving the other $10 on my account for Vagrant Story, though. Mr. Snake can wait.

        After next week, though, I expect Sony's regularly scheduled fail updates, but at least the prospects of more SE games coming to PSN is starting to look good. Guess FFIX will happen soon enough.

          Also: I just want to mention that I bought FF8 from an old woman at a garage sale. A true grandma, not a TGM. By which I mean, archetypically feeble and probably not of sound mind. She said "It takes me a while to get through 'em..."

                It took me seven months to complete FF10. And it may have been the fastest I've ever played an RPG. You're doing ok.

                  Ah, FFX, the memories . . . every time I get a hunch that I'm making some decent progress through the story, *BOOM*, they shove something completely new and out of the blue to tell me that I haven't even started yet. Shame that I don't have my PS2 anymore; I never really did make it very far (stupid random encounters without a save sphere) past that dang airship dragon . . .

                      newbs are going to get their behinds kicked by Vagrant Story. I remember I gave up and sold it after trying to damage
                      that beast boss (after you win that battle, it's the one that retreats and falls into shadow while Ashley just turns around and faces the other way.)
                      I didn't throughoutly learn the system back then.

                      But then bought it again and completed it. Then 2 more times on New Game+
                      It's definitely more fun on New Game+

                      People really need to learn the system and my style was reserving a weapon for each type of enemy.
                      Also those dummies I think raise the power a weapon has against a certain type of enemy (therefore damaging them
                      more.)

                      The great story is a reward in itself. I wasn't a fan of the block puzzles but they weren't too bad I guess.

                      but ya, FF8 is a must play by all. Vagrant Story might be a little too hardcore for some these days, lol. I don't think some will
                      even reach Snowfly Forest.

                            Maybe its just that we've been inundated with Micheal Jackson news this year... but aren't those people in the parade doing dance bits from Thriller?

                            I know they did it as an Easter Egg in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, but I never noticed it in FFVIII...

                              How funny that I'd agree with 'Bbq about FF8. People give the game a bad rap because the cool internet denizens do so.

                              If you hate FF8 because of the Draw system, I'd better never catch you leveling BLU in FFXI.
