But wow, Uncharted 2 actually overtook Modern Warfare 2. WOOT!!!

Spike has no right to do any kind of video game awards show. They basically nominate the hype, which is why Modern Warfare 2 was in pretty much every category. They throw a bunch of money around and buy a bunch of people who have nothing to do with video games. They got lucky that Jack Black just happened to get his own video game this year. Snoop Dogg, again? Kimbo Slice? Where's the brown kid from That 70s Show?

Modern Warfare 2 was in pretty much every category.

I was pissed when I saw MW2 in "Best Music Game" and "Best RPG"...

I was glad that Assassin's Creed 2 won something.

Holy Shite, Force Unleashed 2!!!! Holy Shite Halo: Reach!!!! Holy Shite, Spec Ops: The Line (I WANT TO PLAY THIS GAME).

I couldn't play the first Force Unleashed, it was intolerably boring. The MoH game didn't look too interesting, either, I think we have enough 'modern' shooters. Maybe it'll do things differently, or maybe, just maybe, it'll do them right. Halo: Reach? We all know how this game ends. I'm not sure how into it I can get knowing that everybody dies.

I inched ever closer to a heart-attack after hearing Deadliest Warrior is getting both a new season and a video game.

Most of the Spartans die, not all of them and the book is freaking epic.


WTF @ the Deadliest Warrior game... I used to like that show, up until the Pirate vs Knight battle... then, upon reflecting on it, most of the match ups were stupid and either skewed or just outright flawed;


Of course a Ninja isn't going to be able to kill a Spartan. Ninjas were at best peasants/farm hands who were pissed off decided to strike back at the Shogun. They had no real formal training etc etc, they had to rely on stealth, trickery, and probably a hell of a lot of luck. In short, they were not really warriors at all but makeshift spies/assassins who would prefer to avoid any real combat knowing full well they'd be killed in a straight up fight.

Well, except the Fall of the Reach storyline is as old as Halo is. The Fall of the Reach novel was released right alongside the original game. This is a prequel.

Actually, I don't fucking care, I spent all day yesterday trying to beat Rise of the Robots on my SNES. What critics and some faggy award shows think of the games I play is totally meaningless.
