    I don't bother watching that asinine show. The awards go to whoever pays the most to Spike TV for advertising.

      I'm just glad Jack Black wasn't there this year.

      I love the guy, and a few of his movies (they're always hit or miss) but what the fuck was that bizarre display during the intro of last year's show...

      IIRC, he was on stage in his underwear or some shit? All I know is it was crude and something I'd rather forget pronto. The only reason I watch the stupid show each year is for the world premieres. While I'm at it, someone should have gone up on stage and whacked Snoop Dog upside the head with a bat for that God awful performance.

        Uhh Mal, are you sure you watched it? Jack Black won the first award which was Best Voice (Brutal Legend) then went up to accept with a GOTY crown and a GOTY cape on. Acting as though he won GOTY for Brutal Legend...It wasn't even nominated. I'm sure the clip has probably made its way to youtube by now.

          Game of the year awards anywhere tend to be rather dumb.

          The Game of the Year for 2009 is Planescape: Torment by virtue of being the best game I played this year.
