I remember playing this! So challenging and lightyears ahead of megaman games.
The only setback is that it's linear (compared to megaman's non-linear nature of completing the first 8 levels.) but other than that it really is legendary

Just ignore the pessimistic reviewer. I only chose this video because it's the only one
that shows a lot of media about the game, including the two playable characters, co-op
and many stages.
Shockman also has one of the most memorable soundtracks ever. Really epic stuff!
Even the tragedy version of the main theme is one of the emotional themes in the history of the world!!!!!
Ya it's a megaman clone but then again, many clones have borrowed things that
improved compared to the original. (kind of like how Final Fantasy and other RPGs adopts lots of things from Dungeons and Dragons. and how modern rpgs borrowed from
FFVII's cinematic storytelling and gameplay foundations. )
but ya Shockman really awesome.
Even Castlevania Rondo of Blood is a cakewalk compared to this.
also it's a good time to recommend Keith Courage in Alpha Zones. Really one of the
most unique action platformers with a rainbow twist!
