FTFY. Love the plot & the novels etc etc and the campaign is loads of fun. But dear God I actually can't wait for Bungie's contract to expire so M$ can get a new team working on the Halo series after Reach. I'm beyond sick of Halo's broken MP mechanics.

I'll admit I'm not the best shot ever at FPS, but when I see someone's shields go down and then proceed to fire 8 Battle Riffle Bursts at their head (one is enough to kill them) and they don't fucking die I start calling supreme BS. Especially since in Halo 3 I can check the replay and confirm that I was in fact hitting said cheating/lucky asshole.

I don't care if it's a broken game or just lag, Halo needs fixing bad (sadly, while the game can be fixed, you can't fix stupid i.e. the millions of retards who blindly defend every aspect of it and treat those who speak ill of it like pariahs)

I did support IP, but ended up not liking it.

I'm also going to try Heavy Rain but I'll be waiting for reviews and other people's impressions other than buying it right away. And even then I'll consider a rent before anything else.

Most devs don't know how to do multiplayer, or what constitutes as team or cooperative play.

I'd like to see what Insomniac in particular could do with the Halo license, but I'm pretty sure Sony owns them, or at least has some kind of strangle hold. Or at the very least Infinity Ward.

Obviously, Insomniac would do exactly what those other guys are doing.

Resistance 1: A game with awesome weapons and a reason to swap between them. A health system that compromises between regeneration and having to watch how you step instead of blindly charging in at every opportunity.

lmao that's how I felt the other day. I hadn't played halo 3 online since around the time it came out. I decided to hop on the other day to play the standalone version that came with the ODST disc. I would've been ok when I started out, but some dude jumps on the mic and asks me if I want to boost. I didn't even answer the guy back. Then during the whole match all the guy did was whine about his teammates. After the match was over I said out loud, "Man now I remember why I quit playing Halo 3 online." I'm more of a Battlefield/COD fan myself. Its hard to play COD after playing Battlefield because I'll attempt to compensate for bullet travel time which COD doesn't do the same way as BF does.
