You're assuming I set a high bar for the people that gave us "the master of unlocking." DMC was at least funny for its cheesyness and bravado. DMC2 couldn't even crack a smile in anyone.

Being boring is a larger crime than being funny for the wrong reasons.

DMC2: people love to bash on it and never really want to give reasons.

Playing the game even once is generally enough, it's that bad (and I own it. The only reason I won't get rid of it is because I like owning the entire collection, even though I will NEVER play it again)

That's funny. Coulda swore I had unlimited continues in DMC3, too. Oh, because I did.

I've beat the 1st 3 DMCs. I died a lot in all 3 of them. I can understand the "why is Dante a silent brooding type suddenly?" sentiment though. They more than made up for it in 3, though... Wow. What a basket of cheese. "You beat another stage! We will reward you with another 3 minute cutscene of Dante breaking physics with his awesomeness."

That's funny. Coulda swore I had unlimited continues in DMC3, too. Oh, because I did.

There was a difference, though, you could pick that option from the start. If you died a few times in DMC2 (and I don't see how you could), then they slid in an option for the easy mode after a few failures, making a dumb game dumber.

You're very much in the minority about your feelings regarding DMC2, much moreso than your feelings about DQVIII. We're gonna have to take your gamer card if you keep this up.

At least you know what I mean when I say "emo" though, Feba doesn't seem to distinguish cheese from emo.
