Pwn and Mal, I'm not being a smart ass...really. But seriously, do you use and enjoy Home? I tried...I really really tried but....

I did when I was in the beta. But since then I only been on once to get the free stuff and got off lol. It's still neat and a cool concept regardless if all you do is just move furniture around or go play pool or bowling.. I have a large friendlist on PS3 and about 9 of us talk outside of the video games. So if we wanted to play something different, or something everyone had, we could play pool or bowl. If we wanted to. We never do though.. usually we just chat in the VC.

Sometime soon, you can stream your videos off your PS3 and watch them on your TV's you purchase in Home. How cool as that? Has it been done? No.

has it been done? yes, 360 netflix, party mode, if I am not mistaken, you can creat a party, and watch a movie "together".

Except, the movie starts new for every person who joins. Late comers wouldn't be in sync.

I REALLY enjoy Netflix on the 360. I watch movies with my sister and we make fun of it if its bad. I'd love to see PS3 have something like this. I just don't see the "fun" in Home. It also annoys me with the guys trolling for sex....if they even are guys.

that could be fixed with a simple patch, if MS sees it as broken

So? It's still cool that you can take your avatar and others ina virtual apartment and watch a movie. Yeah you can watch a movie in a REAL house with real people, but you can play a videogame with REAL people too -.-

I think the reason people do is because Sony hyped it up big time and its really fallen short of expectations in the gaming community. You do fall into the minority of gamers that actually believe Home is a worthwhile endeavor. I'm glad you enjoy it but you have to understand that many of us are waiting for Sony to pick up the slack.

Yes, on paper it sounded wonderful and I had high hopes for it myself but the reality of it is they dropped the ball. While its mildly entertaining for a brief amount of time, it just doesn't pull its weight.

It's more like Ye Olde Chatroom than forums. You know, where people went because they heard that's where you go to talk to people and then everyone realized there's no accountability and every reason to spam porn links/ask for porn links? Now if I could leave post-it notes in my friend's apartments in Home, it'd not only be more like a forum (or at least an email service), it'd be FARKING AWESOME.

Their demands were innocent enough, until the inclusion of the immediate disqualification of "Obese Girls (try drinking water for a change)." This shallow (and confusing) item required immediate karmic retribution. As we pondered our involvement in this matter, we saw it:

"Looking for potentially LTR (long-term relationship) with college educated women around our same age, to meet initially via Playstation Home."

Our minds raced with the retaliatory possibilities -- shapeshifting would most certainly be involved, that much is given. But to what extent could this vulnerability be exploited? An hour of feminine manipulation, and then ... the switch? A day of personal exchanges before ... the exchange? A week? A month? A year?

With solemn determination, we gathered our courage -- and became unspoken executors of the Longest Con.

When you make a persistent world of any kind, you have to do things to keep it interesting. They tried to make Home this Second Life kinda thing, except there's nothing really interesting about it, there's sparse developer support and parlor games that are more fun playing with live people on the Wii or elsewhere in real life.

Just one thing . . . no yiffing . . .
