What compelling reason is there to import this one? PS3 version will have support for both languages, it seems.

I mean, unless you know Japanese and just want to be the first in line to buy the band's T-shirt at the show and say you were there, what's the point?

Plenty of games between now and the first quarter release of FFXIII here in the states and plenty of time to wait for other reasons to get a PS3 - of which there are still very few in the RPG department. Sad to say it, but even PSP beasts PS3 in that department.

It all depends on whether or not Japanese voices will be included on the NA version of the game. But either way I'm not buying it till next year because I have a ton of other games to play before I even get to the December releases.

Agito and Versus I will probably import the moment they are out though.

Supposedly, there wont be dual audio on the NA versions cause DVD's can't hold enough of the info like blu-ray can. Good job SE.. good job..

the PS3 version of FFXIII will have both Japanese and English, the 360 version will only have English.... you know the language we understand? ;p

Really "I only will get it if it has Japanese voice" is a silly agument, when all you are going to do is read subtitles anyway.

I can only speak for myself, but I'll go for the original language if I have the choice.

It's no different from hollywood movies I buy on Blu-ray. I'd never buy it if it didn't include the original (english) audio.

And since my native language is neither english nor Japanese I have absolutely no reason to pick the dub over the original in cases like this one.

yeah I agree there, but I just laugh every time I see people that don't speak or read or write any Japanese, and say things like "Japanese or GTFO" and when they do get their precious Japanese voiced game, what do they do? Read English subtitles.

I still say Q fucking Q to the people who are butthurt (butthurt, really. I can see how it might be a downer to some, but there's a big difference between that and indignation) about the lack of JP audio. Because XII and War of the Lions had bad localizations, right?

But then again I also say "cry me a river" to the people that are butthurt about the graphics sinking to 360 level or whatever.

Fuck I'm just glad we're well past the days of shitty American box arts, half-assed translations, and instruction manuals that just make up the plot and names from scratch.

I could careless either. I think PS3 fanboys are just upset that they have to dumb the game down just to fit 360. It's kinda cheating them out of a game that was gonna put PS3's bluray power to the limit(Aside from uncharted 2). Honestly, I am a little hurt by this lol. Butthurt? No..
