well they have to remake V first, ten VI and yes both will be on DS like III and IV where

Personally, I'm hoping we see something on Wii/PS2/PSP. Seems to me like that would be the best way to do the art style justice, while making sure that it doesn't go overboard and take the graphics from 'crude' to 'BROWN AND BLOOM'.

well no they dont, but its easy to read patterns. and all the FF/DQ remakes they are doing, they seem to be going in order

I saw this site read the number "VII" before when I last checked yesterday, so don't get your hopes up for it being a FFVI remake. I'm thinking Dissidia 2 possibly?

The Roman Numerals are part of the countdown, so I wouldn't put too much stock in the idea these are Final Fantasy remakes or even the remaining DQVI remake that's supposed to be coming.

Speculation from those on the JP side seems to suggest this might be a popular trading card game based on the art in the background. The other possibility is the very recent trademark SE made this week for a title called "Gyromancer."

Could be anything but the handheld market is where the money is in Japan these days, so its more likely this is a DS/PSP/iPhone thing than a console game. Dragon Quest IX just broke the three million mark this week on DS, so yeah, there's very little incentive to dissuade SE from making more handheld games. Don't like it? Oh well, your loss.

At any rate, I'm getting a little tired of these teaser sites, most of them are blown wide upen before the countdown ever finishes. Atlus' teaser was figured out in the first day thanks to them leaving the answer in the source code, then three days before the countdown is even done, Famitsu breaks that its SMT Strange Journey for the DS.

Same thing with Four Warriors of Light, same thing with Metal Gear Rising and Peace Walker.
