Surprised I haven't seen this posted anywhere yet, but anyway..

TheSpeedGamers are playing the offline Final Fantasy series (1 to 10 as well as 12) to raise money for Autism. At the time of this post they were at $5,150 with a target of $20,000. With FF I and II completed.

The finish time for FF1 was like.. 5 hours and 21 minutes where as FF2 took forever.

oh nevermind, I can see he is using a GC, with FFV advanced in there ;p

for some reason I though I saw some fast motion there, but I guess not

I thought I read on BG that they were going to pick up FFXI, but it was going to be a different gamer and it wasn't going to count toward the completion of the games or something. I can't remember all the details.

I thought I read on BG that they were going to pick up FFXI, but it was going to be a different gamer and it wasn't going to count toward the completion of the games or something. I can't remember all the details.

they are, they have been talking about it, is a girl with Aytism, who will be playing, dont know the server yet though

They just started day 4 a little while ago and they're at $21,529.48/$20,000

well....the FFXI video feed sucks all kinds of balls ;p

they stuffed it in with the other three video feeds in the one window.... and even if you max it to full screen, FFXI looks so horrible, you can hardly make out whats going on -.-

I enjoyed watching even though they mucked around a lot on FF9.

They are past their goal of $50,000. Very very good job.

Awesome and noteworthy cause. As a mom of an autistic son, we watched the coolness! Kudos gamers and thank you!

And I bought some cool gear - yeah I swear it's for the kid!

yeah it was a great thing, they ahve been doing things like this for alittle over a year and a half, but I am just now finding out about them. Their next marathon will be a 72 hour one, with Megaman, but I am not sure of the charity this time.
