    Platinum members rewards:

A Punch-Out!! Download for Wii, where you fight against Doc Louis.

    A Mario hat.

    Gold member rewards:

    A Club Nintendo calendar, 2010

Pretty underwhelming, although the Punch-Out!! download is a neat concept, it's just not worth it to me. Why not have some exclusive Nintendo collection as a download? One of the tournament carts maybe? Or Super Mario All-Stars?

    I suppose I'll be getting Mario's hat.

I think I would get it too. I bet the gold members are saying "ALL WE GET IS A CALENDAR!?!" This is the first time I've heard of Club Nintendo, but I've been out of the loop for awhile.

Shame they reset my points from earlier this year a few weeks ago, but I've yet to register Hotel Dusk, Professor Layton or The Legendary Starfy yet.

Of course, Doc Louis always had it coming for making Mac wear that pink jogging outfit. I could see myself spending some points on that

uh, BBQ, hate to break it to you, but you had to get the points before a deadline.

Your best bet is to contact support and ask about your points being reset, but if you weren't over 600, you're still not getting the download.

EDIT: actually; wasn't thinking clearly-- your points were probably rolled over at the club nintendo year end (end of June), which is also the deadline to get the elite statuses. Your points are still there for the buying things, but you can't use them to qualify for elite rewards.

I'll just lose the hat or it will get put away to never see the light of day again, so I chose Punch Out. Also it will let me know if I actually would want to buy the full game.

lol, a friend of mine bought a bunch of games when he heard about this because he thought the reward for Platinum would be epic.

I told him all he would get is a Platinum member exclusive avatar for the Nintendo forums or something equally worthless and it looks like I wasn't too far off.

I spent basically $15 more (getting a game then, instead of now), which isn't really that bad. My dilemma was basically 'would I rather spend $10-20 more now, and potentially lose out on something awesome (like Super Nintendo Classic Controller), or save the money and potentially get crap'.
