    Tales of Vesperia PS3 Trailer

    New Japanese Trailer has popped up for ToV PS3. Compounding to what is already known about the rerelease* the trailer shows off some of Patty's Arts and towards the end new Mystic Arts for Repede, Estelle and Rita, (Lightning Moment, Ultimate Elements and INDIGNATION respectively). Enjoy

    * New Bosses (Including the Sword Dancer and Don Whitehorse)
    * New Dungeons
    * New Towns
    * New Hi Ougi/Mystic Artes (including a combo Mystic Arte with Yuri and Flynn)
    * New Skits
    * New Animated Scenes
    * Old Animated Scenes have Patty added in
    * New Sidequests
    * New Songs
    * New Artes
    * Repede and Flynn as selectable on-screen avatars
    * Tag Arena in Nordopolica Coliseum
    * New Quests
    * Remodeled Towns
    * Connectivity with Tales of VS (Skits with Yuri, Rita and Judith, since they are the Vesperia characters in VS, need to pre-order VS)
    * Pre-Order Bonus (Abyss Costumes for Yuri [Asch],Flynn[Luke],and Estelle[Tear])

    When (no longer an if) I get a PS3, I am so going to import this. Its almost a whole new game...

    It's an excellent game. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I will be buying the PS3 version also. Now if I could just buy the time to play it too....

        I loved it too. I replayed the final boss 7 times on my second play through just to see all the character specific conversations with the boss right before the first battle and right after.

          now see, I hate it when they do this crap... what about the people that dont have PS3s, but would like to replay the game with all this new stuff? I know its added to sell the game on another system in the first place, but still, its very unfair......

          I will admit though, it looks fantastic on the PS3, that system is really starting to stretch its wings so to speak.

            Nice! I've seen used copies of Vesperia for really cheap lately (20-25) but I've been forcing myself to not play it until the PS3 version is out.

              Really does make the 360 version look like a beta test.

              I pretty much bought a 360 for this game so on one hand I am sort of upset at this.

              On the other hand I really enjoyed the other JRPGs on the 360 so it wasn't a total waste, but since I finished Infinite Undiscovery several months ago my 360 has been collecting dust.


              Well, one way or another I will be picking this up. Importing will happen if it must.

                Well place this one in the Rumor slot for an English release, but there has been found English translation of stuff in the PS3 demo of Vesperia. Its not the same extent as the 360 JPN demo, but its there

                Note: This is in the demo code, not the actual demo


                Gun Support / ガンサポート
                - サブ組の際、戦闘フィールド外から、一定の確率で拳銃で攻撃する。
                - An inactive ally will occasionally attack with gun from outside the battlefield.

                Magic Guard S / マジックガードＳ
                - マジックガード中、物理ダメージも防御できる。
                - Reduce physical damage during Magic Guard.

                Flash / フラッシュ
                - 物理攻撃を防御すると、3秒分の無敵時間を得る。
                - Nullified all enemy's attack after doing a physical guard. Lasts for 3 sec only.

                Flash 2 / フラッシュ２
                - 魔術攻撃を防御すると、5秒分の無敵時間を得る。
                - Nullified all enemy's attack after doing a magic guard. Lasts for 5 sec only.

                Guardian 2 / 明鏡止水
                - 烈砕衝破を薔薇輪に変化させ る。
                - Changes Crushing Eagle To SouBiRin. (Not fully translated?)

                Other stuff, not related to the translation but there was an EX dungeon found (separate from Labyrinth of Memories), Full cut ins for Yuri and Flynn (separate, not their combined Mystic Arte), signaling they each have a second mystic arte. Gauche and Droite also had separate cut ins and Barbos has a cut in as well. Also, unused skills in the 360 version were listed as well.

                  I love this series of titles from Nanmco and the PS3 titles like Sonata are nice.

                    Super bump, but I am sure this is something people will like. Besides from the ToA costume Pre-Order bonus for the JPN PS3 version of vesperia, each character will also get a Tales series costume.

                    Yuri: Judas (Tales of Destiny 2)
                    Estelle: Chloe (Tales of Legendia)
                    Repede: Cauis (Tales of the Tempest)
                    Carol: Lloyd (Tales of Symphonia)
                    Rita: Mao (Tales of Rebirth)
