The only thing that could make me explode with glee is a Super Mario RPG 2 (keep it isometric! None of your newfangled 3D graphics damn it), but that's obviously not happening.

Most rumors going around now are its Romancing Saga 4.

I didn't know there were two others aside from the first one, since that's the only one to ever hit stateside and it only did so as a remake. We got the GB Saga games and the PSX Saga Frontier games, but we only ever got the first Romancing Saga on PS2

Looks like Yoshida art. Similar to FFTA, or to those very early FFIX illustrations from when it was a Job system game.

wat. The original game sold close to 3 million, the DS "remake" has sold over 800k, but that still isn't good enough? Not to mention that SE shits all over their fans every time they shut down a fan made project related to the game.

I don't even care what this countdown is for, but the art does look Mana-esque.

Well I only liked one of the fan made projects the one that was making itunder n64 I forget which engine it was in. But the thing is they had Chrono Break and they let it go in America I think. So I think that were playing something but then they go hit with something that changed the project. MAybe it was the new system announcements or the fact that playstation screwed them over that I don't know. But that fan base must by the game is a marketing tool. They are waiting for something because they don't want another CC which in its own right is a good game but disappoints Chrono Trigger fan (Yes these are the same fans that didn't even know radical dreamers connected to trigger) . What? Maybe a huge gap in game developments, maybe an idea for a new Battle system, maybe a story that could potentially be more epic then trigger. But right now I do not see them bring it out now, even though I wish it greatly.


Maybe it is a dragon quest or a new direction of blue dragon.

Blue Dragon isn't Square Enix, but definitely would not mind a real sequel to it. Not a big fan of the pseudo RTS thing they did with the DS game.

Also, Chrono Cross and Radical Dreamers were both awesome. It would be nice to see another battle system like CC where you can't just massive grindan and overpower the entire game easily.


A new SaGa game would be sweet if it does not crash every 10 fucking minutes. God damn, I thought Star Ocean 2 had crashing issues until I played Saga Frontier. I only made it through 2 or 3 characters before I couldn't take the crashing on every other time I move to a new area.

What? I have played SaGa Frontier dozens of times and it has never crashed on me.

Man.....SMRPG2 CAN I HAZ GENO! If they were to come out with a SMRPG2 I'd probably be second in line to buy it.

I miss staying too many nights in that one hotel (Wasn't that in marrymore?) and then being forced to work as a bellhop.

There's a girl with the boy on the dragon now. If there's a bard drawn in later, then it is a Romancing Saga game. This doesn't seem in that vein, though. I like the retro 8-bit sound they've got going on here..
