So, going home with Piano Collections CD in hand, and my father mentions in an aside that "Square-Enix did a cease and desist on some fan-made video that was years in the making and a lot of people didn't like that very much." I remember hearing about something like this being in development from LBR's FanFest 2008 episode, but honestly I don't know about all the details. Anybody want to fill in the blanks on this half-a-news-bit?

Still it wouldn't surprise me, as SE did nix that fan-made Chrono sequel.

Huh. So, as it turns out, it was the Chrono Trigger thing.
I blame my father for being really vague and my own mind for wandering so wildly. It wasn't a sequel, it was a remake of the original (in 3D). It's a damned shame, it was looking so good.
