    Parents are stupid. Children are waaay over-protected. And I happen to fucking love animal crossing tyvm.

    Just got some cherries in my town, plus the 17 coconut trees by the beach, and I paid off another debt. It's so simplistically fun.

      "There is no reason an adult should have this game," says Andy Anderson, Mid-Missouri Internet Crimes Task Force.

      Anderson says adults playing "animal crossing" and similar games are likely doing it for the wrong reasons.
      Ouch.
      At 21 I'm safely an adult and I bloody like animal crossing! Does that make me some kiddy predator?

      What a load of rubbish. People need to chill out more. If parents are worried about kids using animal crossing because of who they might meet, then simple, don't let them play online.

        I've never played Animal Crossing but I always thought it looked pretty fun. Guess I can't play it now ;_;

                      I liked Animal Crossing as a game/series. The past tense is really only used because it eventually gets so freaking demanding, you just can't have any sort of extended break from the game without the game punishing you in some way or another. You could cheat around that easily, of course, but that takes all the fun out of it. Otherwise, great series, I must say, but it's a broken habit for me.

                      But really, someone finds any sort of online feature and try to find as many ways as possible to pervert it in their heads. They are these absurd watchdogs which are easily to blame for Nintendo's otherwise well-criticized online play policies.

                        Re: Tom Nook: Is he eying up your children?

                        Next question I have for the folks who think adults are trying to fuck your kids with AC: Why is your dumbass kid handing out his/her wii code to people they've never met, and why are you (the parent) so fucking clueless about your child's video game activities?

                        I mean, Nintendo specifically went out of their way to make it as annoying and difficult as possible as they could to link up with friends and other online gamers thru the Nintendo WiFi. Dumb as fuck for adult gamers, and kind of a good idea for younger children gamers.

                          Re: Tom Nook: Is he eying up your children?

                          I used to know a guy who was in his 80's who regularly came in to rent video games @ the local Microplay.

                          Stuff like CoD and Mercenies, you know, fast-paced shooters and action. I thought it was pretty damn cool that someone that old could still be enjoying them ^^

                          Case in point, the only time age matters is when it comes to the ESRB and kids playing games they really shouldn't. That and grown men/women playing barbie on the gameboy I suppose LOL >_>

                            Yet again the point is missed. Parents should keep an eye on their kids more when playing games online full stop. Its those that let the kids have a computer in their room without supervision so they can secretly watch porn, chat and strip on webcam (stickam is soon to be hit by a massive law suit about this) and chat to anyone they want. If parents saw even a smidgen of what their kids get up to on the internet they would be absolutley dumbstruck.
