I picked up the Star Ocean 2 remake for the PSP today, and I try to perform the software upgrade, but it keeps telling me that the game cannot be started and then (DADADADA) beneath that then it kickes me back to the home screen. Anyone else encounter this before at all?

Re: PSP troubles
I have original PSP and have been having this problem as well with newer firmware updates. I need to be @ 100% battery and plugged into the wall for it to even start. Sometimes it still fails. I just use the PSP updater on the internet you could try that. Although I have not purchased or updated my firmware since the release of FFT:LW so I don't even know if it is offered there anymore.
If that fails you can always send your psp back and get a new one. My brother did this and it took 2 weeks to get a new updated PSP, infact when he did it he got the special silver one in place of the basic black.

Re: PSP troubles
Hey that helps let me try that out real quick and see.
Edit: Nope still gives me the same thing. Some one on another forum told me its because I had custom firmware installed on my PSP, but I never have so I dont see what the problem is in this case..........Other games play just fine, and back when I picked up Crisis Core my PSP updated just fine and has been playing games alright since then..........ugh and here I was hoping to be entertained at work, oh well.Originally posted by Van WilderWorrying is like a rocking chair, gives you something to do, but doesnt get you anywhereOriginally posted by TaskmageNo matter how far an ass travels he will never be a horse.
