Looks like a 3D version of Mario 2, complete with throwable bombs.

I like the main character. You can actually tell it's a guy. Seems to have guts too.

Which brings us to the next point: that female lead look exactly like Dagger to anyone else?

Mix between Dagger and Kairi IMO.

Though the Crystal Chronicles franchise shares a number of members with the old FFIX team, so it's always been pretty similar in design.

Wow, I liked that trailer, looks like SE's taking FFCC a bit more seriously now. I haven't played FF:CC Ring of Fate yet, but it looks like this series is starting to come into its own.

Do wish they had kept the co-op focus. Online Co-op+Epic FF RPG would be so win. Not quite sure what to make of the gameplay; it looks a bit to dependent on that 'grab' mechanic, and kinda like they wanted to ripoff Zelda, and forgot what they were doing. Still, looks interesting at the least.
