Ya....not a game I'll be playing. LOL I didn't see the guy had a tarantula crawling on him till it was on his neck and I screamed. I don't even like killing spiders/direites(however you spell it) in FFXI. I will turn the camera away so I don't have to watch.

And also, on the Wii?? Really?? Targeting the pounce or do the web on mobs is gonna suck ass. I will say right now that the controls are going to sink the game.

And someone tell that guy that you pronounce stinger ......STING-ER and not STING-GER. It was driving me nuts. LOL

If done right I'd have a blast just running around as a spider or scorpion and playing with the game mechanics and all that.

As far as the fighting goes, not exactly my cup of tea. It looks interesting though, and again, if they do it well I'd have alot of fun just running around as a spider/scorpion seeing what I can get into.

Oh man, I want to level Bst just so I can use a Diremite jug pet.

Oh lord the first time a bst used one at an ls event I nearly shat myself. I was buffing and he spawned the damn thing right on top of me. I absolutely refuse to go into the aquaducts unless I HAVE to. I hate those things.

Yes, I have used it and if you have to use it in a fast manner (i.e. this game), it sucks because its so touchy. So while you are busy trying to get that pointer in the right spot but its jerking all over cause its so touchy, the mob is attacking your ass and pwning you. So ya....unless they refine it from other games I've used it in, the taurantula is gonna suck.

IR pointer? I'm assuming you're talking about the right hand controller then?

Try any or all of these things:

1) Recalibrating it

2) Adjusting shades/curtains etc. It picks up on light sources, so if there is something else that the IR beam is picking up on in the room it'll make it bouncy

3) Check distance and batteries

4) While it uses batteries, and I forget what it's called, we picked up a battery powered sensor bar that works wonders. It works far far better than the sensor bar that came with the Wii, no clue as to why either

Try any or all of these things:

Yeah, if your IR pointer seems touchy or jumpy, it's either not functioning correctly, you've just not really gotten good with it yet, or you have some kind of hand control problem. Given you can play gamepads just fine, I doubt it's the last one. If it's the second one, I recommend playing Wii Play to get a good grasp on it. Trauma Center was also one of the first games I played on Wii, and that helped a lot. Trauma Center and RE4Wii are both incredibly pointer reliant, and the controls shined.

Interesting movie. I was expecting it to be about most of the women I pick up in nightclubs.

Compared to what follows me into better lighting, the spider or scorpion is not particularly scary.
