I've played FFIV. It was a pretty good game, if you managed to endure the accursed ATB. Seriously, screw you, ATB: if I'm playing an RPG, I'll typically want some time to think things through.

Ah, well, screw it, I don't have a PS3 or 360, either way.

YM: FF has used ATB in some way or another ever since, really. Even FF11/12's combat system is an evolution of it. If you dislike ATB, you basically dislike Final Fantasy.

I don't consider FF10 to be ATB. It's more in line with FFT's turn system than anything else.

I was going to say I dislike ATB but then I realized that ATB itself is not what I dislike, but the lack of depth in most FF battle systems. (I liked FFX's CTB though.)

Why do I play FF? I don't know, I get hooked on RPGs even though I hate so many things about them sometimes.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that says "1 Player" because 人 is the kanji for person. I don't really see it say anything about the number of disks, but then again, my Japanese isn't so great either.

You are correct good sir. There is no mention of number of disks in this image. This image might even be just about the demo disc as after the credits at the bottom it refers to a promotional product bundle with FF7: Advent Children Complete.
