So what you're trying to tell me is that a poll on Gamefaqs is more credible than sales figures.

The gamefaqs poll actually listed ff7 as the best game of all time.

FFVIII was crap -.- the idea of the magic and junction was horrible, the story was "soap opera ish" god the game was just bad -.-


I would rather see an MMO out of Tactics then FFVIII

I genuinely loved FF8, altho i gotta agree that Ivalice would be an awesome world to base the next FF MMO on, or how about Spira?? From what I can remember, Ivalice and Spira are the only two game worlds that were revisited in recent games (FFXII and FFX-2).

Now, another thing, is it just me, or is SE codenaming their new game "Rapture" a little disturbing?? I mean, we all know what the biblical "Rapture" is supposed to be right? So would they be indirectly telling us that once the new MMO comes out, theyll shut down FFXI??? I hope not

ffx-2 is pretty much the bad child. Square doesn't even take credit for it. I'm pretty sure spira wont be revisited, but Ivalice is always a possibility, it seems to be the most popular of all the worlds. I do love the garden idea tho. I mean everyone could start off as garden students, tons of places, tons of things to do, levels, diffrent factions aka gardens. Really a good setting for an MMO, but another ff mmo is doubtful. Even tho the trend is making a "MMO NAME II" like guild wars and eq, and city of heros.

You've tried telling me that World of Warcraft does not have a rigid class system, presenting 4 characters that may or may not be yours as proof of something, then you try to tell me that ff8 is more popular than ff7 despite selling less copies worldwide. Rather than agree with a differing viewpoint which happens to be true, you attempt to respond with flippant comments and asserting that you are right even after proving yourself wrong repeatedly. Rapture means Joy. The Rapture that you're referring to is the biblical one, not the "Hooray boobies!" one.

Well as long as the game has a good story, and art direction, like FFXI did, it will be good ;p

but yes, I think we all could use less time sinks ^.^
