    I know I had a conversation a short while back with a forum member about the Suikoden series so I thought I'd post this. U.S. release date is February 2009. JP release is the 18th of this month.

      Suikoden 1 and 2 were my absolute favorites. They rank up in the top 10 of best RPG's for the Playstation. I would love to see the port they did of them on the PSP in Japan come over to the states but since it flopped over there its highly unlikely they'll port it here. It's been over 2 years now so....ya....not gonna happen.

      This does look interesting and makes me hope that it won't be dummied down for the kiddies.

        I tried to give this series an honest shot but... ugh.

        Suikoden 3 just left me with a massive head ache every time I played (literally. My head physically hurt!)

        I don't know why. And the last few games that came out didn't exactly garner stellar reviews.

          The Famitsu reviews are already out on this one and look pretty positive overall, so maybe this installment has a stronger quality.

          Seemed like for a while that Suikoden was just cranking out sequels to get their roman numerals as high as Final Fantasy (though the Tales series is just as guilty). Hopefully this DS title starts a trend of good Suikoden titles again.
