So I've been playing around with this for a while now and I have to say I like it. The avatar thing doesn't do anything for me. In fact, it reminds me so much of My Sims on the Wii that I'm surprised there isn't a lawsuit floating around. LOL Putting the games on the hard drive is a godsend. I have a huge hd on my 360 so I spent hours installing games and its just freakin awesome and SIMPLE! My Xbox, press Y, choose to install the to HD...TA DA even a tard can do it. LOL Anyone else been futzing with this?

Some people have gotten it via the "preview program" (glorified beta test imo, and yes, it's too late to join).

There's also a leaked version out there that I'm sure you can find with Google. Or you could just wait a couple days.

Leaked version? If you mean leaked as in you can see pictures and video of it, ya there has been stuff out since July. If you mean leaked as in, you can unofficially d/l it and install it, no that would be highly unlikely.

Mine was a "Happy Birthday you old geek loser" present. LOL Being old and been gaming for over 35 years has its perks at times. I remember when we got 4 FFXI betas and 2 of them were for the PS2. lol Always remember "you catch more flies with honey".

well this seems to be good timing, I have to go get me a 120GB drive today.... my 20GB drive is starting to "twig out" on me -.-

I tried playing Left 4 Dead last night, and got a "this disc is unreadable" error......... its a demo..... running off the HDD -.-

I redownloaded and even formatted the HDD, and it still does it (thank god I had a 256mb mem card)

oh well, with all the new features, I kind of wanted a bigger drive, I just hate paying out the butt for it -.-

I'm saying there's a leaked firmware update available. I have tried it. You stick a folder named $systemupdate w/ the right file in it onto the root (top folder) of a flash drive, ext hard drive, CD, or DVD. It works, you won't get banned, but you can't access live until it is officially released.

Again I won't say the site.......but the Corsairs of Bibiki might be able to tell you. Protip: HINT

OMG! I didn't know you were gonna be able to do that with the update.....I guess I haven't really looked into it since I have a old school 20GB hard drive. Well that makes me want to go grab the 120GB. TGM are you using the 120GB HD or are you using a external HD?

yeah I already looked into that long ago, but to do it, you ahve to have a specific HDD, not any old one will do, and its to much BS to go through to save -.- but the 120GB drives are 149.99 now, and I would rather just take the hit.

I had a 20gb and when I tried playing a demo (most recently Left 4 Dead) I would get a disc unreadable error, and the game would close....

was told it was HDD going out, so I went and got a 120GB (so I would be ready for new stuff WED) and I still get the same error -.-

Galaga Legends (says failed to load)
Guitar Hero Aerosmith (works fine)
Left 4 Dead (this disc is unreadable)

but all my games and downloadable content work perfectly fine

I give up, I cant seem to find this problem on the net *shrugs*

I've heard the 120GB hard drive in target stores are $89 atm. I can't confirm, though.
