Most people in the world now believe that the events of Diablo I and II were myth, and don't think that Hell is going to invade. In the game you'll find out what has happened to Tyrael and Baal. You'll also encounter Paladins and other classes from previous games in Diablo III, and you'll find out from them why they aren't participating in the events that are currently happening. Boyarsky said, "There are Neuromancers in the world, and I can bet money that you're going to run into one."

Thanks a lot Blizzard. Way to kill a large chunk of my interest in this game.

While there is a lot of cool shit coming in Diablo 3, I do not approve of this BS at all;

They're also working on a new version of Battle.Net, which might be monetized as we already reported.

Paying for WoW, okay fine it's an MMO. BUT PAYING FOR P2P?! I don't think so. Kiss my ass Blizzard, kiss my ass.

yes but the point id D1 and D2 where fun and the fact that you did not have to pay an online fee for any B.net game was great. But no Diablo is not the kind of game to charge for -.-

and yes only the new battle.net would have the charge, but that is what DIII would run on, so all I would have to say to Bliz is... HELL NO

oh and yeah Pally and Nec not being playable.... is a bit stupid.

I totally understand how Malacite feels. I was so pissed off that the Warrior, Rogue and Sorceror weren't playable in Diablo II. Instead they just made entirely new classes that played almost exactly like those old classes only cooler and better, each with their own mythos that expanded the world of Sanctuary. To learn that they would do such a thing again is utterly gutwrenching. Didn't they learn from their mistake the first time? Fail, Blizzard. Just fail.

Well, they might do something along the lines of what EA is doing (at least I think it's EA). Right now, to access the beta, you need to create a 'blizzard account' to play. To play the pay-to-play games from EA, you'd create an account that spans all of the games, and pay for it for access to multiple things. Who's to say that you won't pay say... $20 a month for access to Starcraft II, Diablo 3, and WoW?

Now that I think about it, they might start releasing Blizzard time cards.

Edit: I remember reading a thread on the beta forums talking about keeping your account for multiple games to preserve your friend list and do a sort of cross-game achievement system. I wouldn't mind this actually, since my in-game name is usually the same for most games.

Not only that, but they left Barbarian in! At least Paladin and Necro were both original and IMO the two most fun classes in Diablo 2. Nothing to this date has come close to the awesome lore of the Necromancers of Sanctuary and if nothing else that is why I hate them for cutting them out.

It doesn't even make any SENSE! The Necromancers are compelled to keep the balance, and well, if demons are on the rise again how can the church of Zakarum not get involved? BULL CRAP! I'm sorry but fuck the Witch Doctor, give me priests of Trag'Oul (I sadly forget their official name X.x)
