Though, really, demos are no subsitute for doing the research on games to make sure you're really getting something you want.

I research every single game I buy and I've still bought stinkers. Reviews are biased because friends have favorite genres and systems. Don't even get me started on "professional" reviews, especially ones from websites. The outside influence on those reviews make damn near impossible to tell which ones are telling the truth.

The only way to tell if you are going to like a game is to play it yourself. A demo gives you a taste of a game but many times even a demo can give you a wrong impression. I've played demos that absolutely stunk and down the road I ended up playing the game and loved it. So playing the actual game is what I like to do best and why I use the EZFlash.

Reviews are mostly just guidelines, 9 times out of 10 I just follow the previews and I'll know whether or not I like it. And I seldom get a wasted purchase.

But OK, Project Snowblind was my last bad one. But only payed $5 for it and knew Eidos fucks most things up after they usurp a franchise and shut down the developer. Just look at Core, Silicon Knights, then Ion Storm and Kronos. Crystal Dynamics can't save every one of them.

Oh well, least SK is still around... not that they do much. Eidos let the Kain series go to hell, though.

I thought Nintendo channel on Wii offered DS demos?

That's what wiki said at least. I only tried Nintendo channel when it first came out before demos were up, then deleted it. I needed that 200 or so blocks it took up.

yes, the one platform Nintendo has demos on doesn't actually provide demos for that platform.
