They've been working on two new games for some time now. One is confirmed to be a PS3 game, one is rumoured to either be a PSN or PSP title.

Please please please be ICO sequel for PS3 and ICO port for PSP! YAY! lol

I still think SE deserves a bit more ire for showing us what a next gen FF7 remake would look like with no real intention of follow through other than 50 odd tie ins that are close but not quite there.

Hint: It was a tech demo.

Not all tech demos become actual games.

They used FFVI as a tech demo for the N64 before deciding to go with Sony that generation.

Also, Nomura said he would very much like to do a remake of FFVII years ago. Its all a matter of getting through these other projects he had set up to do it (hi2u, Crisis Core, FFXIII, Kingdom Hearts, The World Ends With You). If you pay any amount of attention to these "tie-ins," you'll see they're pointing in specific directions, especially with this Genesis guy retconned into the background.

This'll be one of the few times when I don't think that the English had a bad punishment system there.

Although I might also vote for finishing the whole process and not stop at the drawing and quartering.
